faeriewench Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 When I hear about lawsuits for most things anymore it makes me embrassed to be a human. Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 21, 2012 Author Posted January 21, 2012 Take a gander at the comments. THEY are what embarrass me! Quote
Hank Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I'm gonna stay away from those antique cars! But, really, people are going to have injuries and those need to be dealt with in a fair and timely manner. Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 The sun made it hard to see the curb The man didn't see how CP could let another person use the go kart... Sigh... Quote

Tanna Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I'm gonna stay away from those antique cars! But, really, people are going to have injuries and those need to be dealt with in a fair and timely manner. My cousin's first big job was operating the antique cars. We went to go see her on her first day. A car had run over her foot ten minutes before she was scheduled to clock out. "Shake it off. You're Irish." There's some things that are painful, and some things you have to blow off. Quote
Dalefan Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 The go karts have rules and laws. It's the person driving them that is at fault. Not the people who run them. So you need to go after the driver of the go kart. If that driver acts dumb, then the park needs to say something to them. Every driver can't be looked at before they drive a go kart to see if they can't drive them right. Quote
Sonor_Drummer Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Makes you wonder how many people are just "money hungry." I slipped and fell at Dave and Busters last night. I got up and laughed it off. The idea of trying to get money didn't even cross my mind. That's just me though 1 Quote
faeriewench Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I wouldn't be surprised people injure themselves intentionally just to get money, only reason I think that cause my family has had it happened on one of our recreational vehicles. Quote
