LynnDee
Hello! I will be going to Kings Island in two weeks and I haven't been since I was in high school and 16 years old! I'm 20 now and I don't believe I am too much bigger than I was then and I was able to fit on all of the rides that I waited for. Although I do remember The Beast hurting like Hell because it was such a tight squeeze. I highly doubt I will be able to fit on that one now. My breasts have gotten bigger since then (42C) and I can wear 22/24. My low hip would measure about 51/52. I'm also 5'8" so I'm not a shorty. I weigh about 265 and my weight is evenly distributed for the most part. My problem area is mainly just my stomach. I don't have a big butt or anything, it's just the pooch! My legs are pretty normal though and I do have a large frame. Like I said, I never had a problem riding the rides at Kings Island before even though some were just a really tight squeeze. And I could ride the Drop Zone/Tower (but could barely breathe) which I've read several places online is a ride to stay clear of if you are on the bigger side. But the last theme park I went to was during my Junior year of High School and it was Six Flags in Georgia for a band trip. I will never forget the humiliation of having to get off the train in front of everyone because I could not fit. And I was too afraid to ride another ride the whole rest of the day. It was horrible. But I felt like the seats on the rides at Six Flags were smaller than a lot of the rides at Kings Island?? And my band director was about 6'2" and very, well not fat, but husky like and he fit! I was so confused! lol. For a minute, I actually wondered if the seats in the front were smaller? Because it was just unbelievable how much I could not fit when my band director and some of my fellow band mates who were the same size or even bigger could fit. But they were sitting near the back of the train? Could this be possible? I'm guessing that my stomach would be the main concern. And I have been trying to flatten it out for years! It's so tough! But I would appreciate some advice on what rides to avoid to save some embarassment. I haven't been to an amusement park in so long and I always loved them and I'd really like to go and actually have a good time again! Thanks! Fear Flier
I'd ask the ride attendant before. It's no fun to be kicked of a ride. Believe me, I know.
The Interpreter
What ride at SFOG did you have problems with?
TheCrypt
Many things I want to address... 1. I'd be wary of posting a picture of yourself on an Internet forum. 2. I assume you like Hello Kitty (ain't no shame in that!) 3. I think you should be able to fit on the rides.
