Browntggrr Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Bad story, but no fatalities. The park authorities admit there was overcrowding, but blamed the customers. They say safety warnings issued by park personnel were ignored. http://ibnlive.in.com/news/visitors-ignored-warnings-kolkata-park-authorities/284299-3-231.html Quote
beastrider97 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I have to wonder if there was any way to keep this amount of people from being on the slide at once. It seems crazy that about 20 people on a slide at once can cause it to collapse. Glad that everyone made it out alive. Quote
Browntggrr Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 According to the park they tried. I just wonder how hard. Quote
KI-ORIG-EMP Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Have you seen all the over crowded passenger trains that India has? They jam themselves in the inside like sardines and on the roof of the cars. It is the same here. Anytime you over crowd a ride, it will cause problems and it happen here. Quote
