The Bat at night Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Does anyone know if the Sky Flyer is going on in October? Quote
dudecoasterman Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 If you mean Xtreme Skyflyer, yes, I rode it last Sunday. Quote
The Bat at night Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 Thanks, we have a couple of Fun Perks rewards that I would like to use and just want to make sure it was open before I redeem the rewards. Quote
The Bat at night Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 Is there a height minimum for the ride. My daughters are all over 52" but I want to make sure it isn't 54". Quote
TheCrypt Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Why don't you go to the website? Probably a lot easier and faster than waiting for someone to reply here. I ain't sayin' anything, I'm just sayin'. 2 Quote
diamondhawk Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 You're good as long as you don't want to ride Thunder Alley... 1 Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Most questions asked here and for most of us that answer the questions for the most part give that answer. Ask the park. They will give you the best and most accurate information. 1 Quote

TombRaiderFTW Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 ^^^ ...Because 9 times out of 10 it's more reliable to get information from the horse's mouth than to get it secondhand? (Ironically, this is the rare exception. The KI website doesn't have Thunder Alley listed as closed, so it might not have had Xtreme Skyflyer listed as closed, either, if it was. Still, TheCrypt's point is valid.) 1 Quote
TheCrypt Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Thunder Alley is closed, but the website shows no indication of that. FTW was talking about whether or not the site would display Xtreme Skyflyer's operations, coming back to your original question. Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 He's saying that the Kings Island Website sometimes is not 100% up to date. Thus, they may have listed Xtreme Skyflyer as closed but in reality it is opened. However, either way TheCrypt was correct: Go to the park and ask them. They have the best and most accurate info. 3 Quote
rsipus13 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 since thunder ally is closed in the park, and it hasn't been updated on the site, the site might be wrong. well i got beat by 2 people. Quote
TheCrypt Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I was pointing you in the general direction of where to find information. And height restrictions are rarely incorrect on the park's website. Quote

It is hard for me to GO to the park to ask them if I want to print my Fun Perks rewards ahead of time. I would hate to print a reward and find out it was closed. Crypt- Some people like to go to different forums to get questions answered. Other people have chimed in saying that the web site info on KI in not accurate. What is someone to do if they have a couple of level two rewards to use by the end of October? I was only asking for answers, not telling me where to go. do you have a phone? you can call the park.
