Screwball
Dracula's Haunted Castle: The Paramount Action FX Theater is transformed into an abandoned theater promising frightfully interactive entertainment featuring Dracula. Throughout history many have ventured into the castle but few have left alive. You may enter at your own risk!!! Have a seat and hold on tight but be sure you leave by midnight. Friday the 13th: Jason's Extreme Cuts: The bloody legend of Camp Crystal Lake comes to Fearfest in this horrific multi-sensory homage to the Paramount Pictures blockbuster slasher saga, Friday the 13th. Watch the indestructible psycho, Jason Voorhees slice, dice and slaughter his way through hapless victims. Guests will relish this gore fest as the diabolical killer wreaks havoc and splatters blood across the big screen and the guests in Paramount Theatre. Narrated by one of Jason's unlucky victims, this 13-minute bloodbath will make guests screech and shrill in their seats. PLEASE BYOBB! (Bring Your Own Barf Bag!) Warning: This attraction/movie contains scenes and effects that can be described as gory and violent. The movie is not recommended for young children or guests who are sensitive to horror movie images. Sleepy Hollow Horror: NEW - Welcome to the late 1700's and the eerie town of Sleepy Hollow. As you walk through the dilapidated colonial farmhouse, proceed with caution. There are rumors that the Headless Horseman has dismounted from his horse and slipped into the home.... Is the Headless Horseman lurking in the shadows, stalking your every move? One head, two head, three head, four. The secrets of the Horseman lie behind the front door…. Taken from the PKI FearFest page Pyscho Path, Curse of the Crypt, House of Darkness, Maze of Madness, and Circus of Horrors 3D will all return. ---- I wasn't expecting this many new attractions, so it's a pleasant surprise. Look's like Dracula will replace Elvira's Superstition at the Action FX theatre. Jason will move into the Paramount Theatre. Now one of the only questions is where Sleepy Hollow Horror will be located. Coney Maul is already packed with attractions, I wonder if they will try and put this somewhere else in the park to disperse the crowds. I can't wait to come back down for FearFest. It's going to be a good time, I can only pray the weather co-operates like last year. Nothing like wearing shorts and a t-shirt, on the first couple days of November. hauntguy
I am kinda hoping that the Sleepy Hollow attraction will be located in Rivertown. Seems like it would fit in right there. I will be at the Park on Toyota Family day later in September, I will look around and take some pics of some of the stuff before October comes around. -Hauntguy
teenageninja
I saw one of those big lights (work lights) over in the field next to the international showplace. This is really the only place I can see it going, unless they put it back around WWC.
DegenRider
Too bad you could not go though WWC itself its closed anyways.
hauntguy
Are you reffering to the land next to the lake, behind the showplace. That would be cool.... I think they should leave it open air (no roof), this would give you the feeling of being outside while still being inside the attraction. Maybe it will be totally outdoors, if I am not wrong Sleepy Hollow opens at 8pm right? Thanks for the tid-bit teenageninja. -hauntguy
hauntguy
Oh, if you guys haven't seen it already... check out Paramount's Carowinds site for there halloween event Scarowinds. http://www.carowinds.com/attractions_scarowinds.jsp There site is WAY better than PKI's Fearfest site. -Hauntguy
TheSnapper
The Sleepy Hollow Maze will be located in the field right next to the pond. It will be built on the grass and should be very scary! There are some awesome haunted houses this year I cant wait!
PKI_Diana
the light was there just for yesterday and tonight, for that skyjumper.... he jumped again 2x in honor of 9/11/01. It was rather neat and cool. A moment of silence for everyone. God never gives us more than we can handle.

teenageninja
From what it seems Sleepy Hollow Horror may be next to the Eiffel Tower. I see a big white circus looking tent there. If that's the attraction I'm goign to be a little upset, because it looks small, and aqward. We'll see soon though.
Hoskins123
I cant wait for dry run day. Probably my last day at KI for the season unless they give employees FF tickets. If they do then I will be collecting those like they are 100 yr old baseball cards. One of you guys with a job needs to buy me a 05 season pass. hauntguy
I think I have seen those tents before, they were used at fearfest for face painting and other stuff. But it could also be the same tent used when PKI had the Freezer (first FF). I will just have to see this Saturday. -Hauntguy
coasterrz
I was up at PKI for P&G day on Saturday. I too saw that big white tent. They have a lot of work to get that thing ready for Fear Fest as there was absolutely nothing inside of the tent.
hauntguy
Well, most haunted attractions can be set-up in 5-8 days with a 6 man crew. But first, is this thing one big tent or a few smaller tents? Thanks. -Hauntguy
PKI_Diana
It looks like one big tent in rectangular form, however, it is made of several pieces... It's not all that impressive, but who said it had to be big to be good and scary?
TheSnapper
ITS A BIG TENT AND i Hope IT SA GOOD HAUNTED ATTRACION! BEAST at NIGHT
hauntguy
Oh OK, this could be the attraction then. You would be surprised at how much haunt you can fit under one small tent! I am really looking forward to being at the park this Saturday. Take Care. -Hauntguy
Shman
That white tent IS where the Sleepy Hollow Horror attraction is going to be located. There is a reason that it has not started to go up yet.....it is not time for that attraction to be built, also the parts have not arrived from the company that designed it yet, for more than one reason. TheSnapper
I cant wait for Fear Fest!! Its gonna be a lot of fun and hopefully the biggest scariest one yet!!
hauntguy
I will be at Fearfest on the 9th (Saturday), if any of you guys will be there... you want to meet up somewhere. Kinda like a PKIU Forum member meet at Fearfest. Just a thought. I hope Fearfest will be good this year. I want PKI to go all out like Knott's, Universal and Magic Mountian. Take Care. -Hauntguy
TheKlockster
I am going every Saturday, but on the first four, I won't be there till seven. The 30th Ill be there all day, and on Nov 6 Ill be there after four. Does anybody know if the scooters will be in their old or new location for fearfest? Dane
Ummm, the same spot they have been sitting in for 18 years...
TheKlockster
That wasn't a dumb question. They are moving them to the old Flight Commander site aren't they? I was just wondering if that move was going to happen before fearfest or after fearfest. I guess it doesn't matter - I'll ride it either way. coasterrz
I`m almost certain that the Eagles will remain in their current location throughout the remainder of the season. If they are moved next season, while the popular rumor is the old Flight Commander spot, the park could really move them anywhere in the park. I for one think the Flight Commander spot would be an excellent spot for them. If the Eagles are moved, it will be the second time they have moved to a new location at PKI. Originally, they sat where the Dogems were until the park built the new Dodgems building and moved the Eagles to their current location. TheSnapper
they are staying put intil Nov 8th then they will move them somewhere.
Beast_Queen
I will most definetly be going to Fearfest this year. I remember back when they had Winterfest I was supposed to go 2 years in a row but never made it cuz the first year I was sick and in the hospital and the 2nd year the trip was cancelled because of the weather. So I will hurt someone if I can't get to Fearfest. The 2 main reasons being The Beast at Night and the Friday the 13th show.
