As promised, The trip report from yesterday is here. B)

I arrived at the park yesterday morning at about 11 a.m and didn't make it there at 10 as planned. I left my house and about 15 minutes down the road, I ended up turning around because I forgot my "sd" card for my camera which threw me off getting to the park at 10 along with stopping for breakfast. When I made it there I was not-so-happily greeted by a bus full of 2nd and 3rd graders running out in front of me and tripping me!

I made my first ride of the day Vortex because I haven't got around to riding it yet this year. It was suprisingly smooth this year and the corkscrews were wonderful, worst part is always the brake run! After that I decided to swing by and ride WindSeeker a couple of times while the line was short. There was just as much wind to seek 301 ft. up as usual.

I then made my way to Firehawk and was very, very suprised to see a short 45 min. wait which is great compared to the usual 2 1/2 to 3hr. wait.

After Firehawk I stood in a 20 min. line for the front seat of the Worlds Longest Wooden Roller Coaster! Followed by that was a walk to the front of the park so I could get a peek of all the Action going on in the Zone. I noticed that once again, No camping was allowed, as usual.

Then after conquering Delirium, which was by-far the best ride of the day, I rode Congo Falls, and then to cool off I plunged down the worlds tallest gyro drop.

It was about 2:00 when I made some time to go eat, and I decided to get the usual pretzel from a pretel stand.

I figured after eating that it was then time to go take care of riding the flats in Coney Mall. I rode Monster, Scrambler, Zephyr, the Dodgems, and Shake, Rattle, and Roll. They were all great as usual.

I wanted to ride Viking Fury before leaving Kings Island too so I rode it 3 times, One of which was with a kind older gentleman from Greenwood IN, we had a good little talk.

Before I left the park at 6:30, I made sure to ride WindSeeker one more time along with some of the flats again. My day ended with spending money in the souvenir shops.....As always

Overall, The longest I waited was for Firehawk as previously mentioned, and the crowds were not bad at all. It was a Very good Friday to visit the park, to say the least.

.......And the pictures......I couldn't take any because I had the wrong "sd" card for my camera! :o

I had my first Delirium ride this season yesterday. I agree, it was my favorite ride of the day too. I had my first night ride on Firehawk which was pretty fun, only a 10 minute wait. I think everyone was riding DB and Beast at that point, since I have had my share of night rides on both I'm going to ride Firehawk and FOF before close the rest of the year. My last two visits there lines seem to just drop off after 9:30.

Sounds fun! I like how you rode many of the flat rides as well. My brother will ride all the big rides with me and loves them, but by far his favorite is the Dodgems and Boo Blasters. I wasn't riding all that big stuff at his age, truly a ride warrior lol.

Wow. A trip back and for the wrong card. Sounds like something I'd do.

Pretzel? Auntie Anne's?

No, Unfortunately not from Auntie Anne's this time -_- I just went to the closest pretzel cart....Although usually my delicious pretzels do come from Auntie Anne's !!

The Dodgems are great but as for Boo Blasters....I have yet to ride that under the "snoopy" name. Many years ago, I rode it as Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle and enjoyed it enough to get a picture with Scooby afterwards.... I even got my picture with Scooby afterwards!!

A lot of people spend so much time on coasters that they never experience the flat rides and tend to walk past them.....But me, I ride them all throughout the year, from the carousel to Shake, Rattle, and Roll.

HUSS rides sure can pack a good punch! (and some occasional down-time)

A night ride on Firehawk is something that I have yet to do but now that you mention it, I will try it next time I visit the park, and yes, most people do head for Diamondback and The Beast at night, especially The Beast.

Wait: you rode Congo Falls, then you cooled off on Drop Tower? Please tell me you meant that you dried off on Drop Tower, or else explain to me how in the world that makes sense, because it's making $0.00 right now. :P

Otherwise, thanks for the nice report. I catch myself overlooking the flats sometimes. :)
