JTW
How tall are you and what kinds of rides do you enjoy
Gabe
There are lots of food options--pizza (Larosas), ice cream (greaters and blue ice cream) chicken (chic fila, chix nugets in coney mall/rivertown), chili (skyline) and on and on..as far as rides, if you can, you may want to invest in Fast Lane wristbands, which in most cases, reduces your wait time to just a couple of minutes (exception--Flight of Fear on busy days where even Fast Lane is about a 20 min wait). go on their website, read about the rides and decide which you like. Beast and Diamondback are the park's signature coasters, but there are many others as well. Have fun!
YoungStud
For a family you will spend over a 100$ in food. I would pack a large cooler. It will be a fund day. How tall are your kids? When I go with my wife and daughter(under 40") we have a great time in Planet Snoopy. Be sure to get a parent swap card at guest services. You can break off and wait for Diamondback or several other rides, after you ride have the exit attendent intial it or they will scribble on it cause they dont know what it is and then you can have your wife walk up the exit ramp and walk onto the ride while your with the children. Sorry that last sentance was a run on.
xXDrummerKiDXx
Giving tips is a little but harder when we don't know a lot about you. How tall are you? Ages of your family? What Types of coasters do you like? As for me, usually my girlfriend and I spend $20 on food. I have a souvenir cup so drinks aren't a big factor in cost. Sometimes we snack on pretzels or ice cream. So food and drinks - 30-40 dollars if we stay all day. Rides: I ride them all, there is nothing too tall or fast for me. My girlfriend will ride everything as well and living 25 minutes away (in light traffic) I don't buy fast passes all the time. If yo enjoy coasters as much as we do, I recommend The Beast, Diamondback, Firehawk and Flight of Fear. All are GREAT and different experiences.
FlyingEagle
Well for rides make sure you hit up delarium, Drop Tower, make sure you hit up all coasters spend some time over in the water work. Now when it comes to food have some LaRosas pizza, blue ice cream, and of course a funnel cake. My Favorite is the elephant ears sold at the funnel cake stand in rivertown. Hope you have fun with the family and enjoy your time at the park.
TheCrypt
YoungStud mentioned a cooler. It should be noted that outside food and drink are not permitted (omitting a special dietary need--you go to Guest Services for that) inside the park. You may however pack a cooler, leave it in your car, and eat in the parking lot when you're hungry. Make sure that if you leave the park you get your hand stamped so you can come back in.
