Ok, so we got to the park at about 1040, me and my girlfriend both had the day off and decided to surprise her little sister with one of her free tickets. Once we got to the park, it was a bit of a shaky start, we were being directed to park over by Soak City which was a bit odd, but oh well. We went through the Soak City gate and waited for the train to take us to the park

After taking the train to the park we decided to go through a few Planet Snoopy shops on the way through rivertown to look for things that Lindzey's sister wanted, particularly the LaLaLoopsy doll things. Anyways no luck there just yet, but we decided to go up to the top of Eiffel Tower to get a view on how the park looked and get a game plan going. From there we decided to start her off semi small, and decided to hit up Flight Deck. On the way however we did stop by the new scenery by Project 2014. Must I say, it looks very very cool, and pays alot of homeage to both the Banshee theme/ride and little perks to roller coaster enthusiasts, as we have all already discussed over the past few days(Stengel, ect.).

After going by the construction and decoding the Irish/Gaelic text we got on Flight Deck, as per usual, less than 15 minute wait not counting the always long epic walk :P. Our little one is not the largest thrill seeker nor does she always enjoy this kind of stuff. She kind of liked it, but she complained that it hurt her head. It was ok, but she didn't care to ride it again.

Once we got back to Action Zone, we decided to hit up a few shops and wait for the other half of our group that decided to come into the park as well. On shop on Coney Island is great btw, I forget the name but it has bobble heads, guitars, and moustache pillows (that I want, but not for 75 dollars). Anyways, great staff, cool stuff, and I want that pillow!

After we went through the shops we decided to go take a visit to Ed Alonzo's show as per my usual. Good show as always, love the easy magic that fools so many people, and I love the people in the show too :). Anyways only thing missing was the second to last act with the box trick was not at the show due to repairs needing to be made =/. Still awesome, and they got their group shot and trading cards :)

After the show we decided to go straight to the deep end of the pool and coerce our little soon to be enthusiast into riding Flight of Fear. With the aid of peer pressure by a similarly aged kid tagging along with us and not explaining any loops, just a really fast start, she agreed to ride. The wait was about 45 minutes, not too terrible. We got on the ride & it went it's usual course. She liked the ride initially, but hearing it went upside down after we got off, she refused to reride :P

Once we got past the ride photo we tried to coerce again to ride WindSeeker, but that went nowhere, she flat up refused that lol. To relax a bit and wait to try something else the kids wanted to go out and play some arcade games. Here's where I started to feel old, and I don't like it. I remember as a kid being a boss at video games, I still am at some games such as BF3, GT5, ec. But DAM*!!!! These kids at the arcade, including our two were schooling people at games and getting like 200+ tickets easily! One kid kept doing that one giant reel thing where you spin the drum and got the bonus FOUR TIMES. Life is totally unfair. As a kid I would maybe get the bonus at skee ball or a random game here and there, but to repeatedly get the jackpot...screw that, totally unfair. Also, it was odd to just be watching kids and relaxing. I'm not the one who wants kids, but it was odd to feel...over mature, and just relaxing, talking with other same aged individuals, including one of which whom I've been dating for years and watching one of her relatives. Def. felt a sense of growing up right then and there. It was kind of nice, but eh...I still have no desire for children. Anyways, left both the arcades after getting their prizes, and stepped out to admire the tower, good view from that back corner near the test your strengh game.

After that it was about lunchtime for us and some Panda Express sounded good. Got the usual Chicken, Rice, & Rangoons. They were doing the Rock & Roll show over at Feshaus...First off...Michael Jackson is the king of POP...how is he at all considered rock, and also, your homeage to him was terrible...The singing was just downright...awful. Their choreography & stuff was spot on and I was highly impressed with, but the singing, to polyphonic karyoke music, just no.

Well ate my fat share of ok chinese food, and then headed straight to Viking. Great idea, as it was an epic walk on, bad idea for a but of nausea :P. I did one round, the kids decided to go do two rounds after, at least they found something fun to do while we sat staring at the pond with a floating dead fish :D. Once we settled down we all walked to the back and hit up Stunt Track, as we explained it's the same as FOF, but without upside down and a bit of action movie stuff. This was the longest wait of the day, htting about one hour flat. I was completely ****ed with this crowd though. There was SERIOUS line jumping, and noone was enforcing it. My previous ride op experience and military voice came out, yet fuc*ing again, especially the two kids who stood there and told me "We don't talk to strangers." Once military side came out and words were uttered, eyes lit up, and they calmly walked away. Funniest thing though was this group behind me that was all like "calm down, you're not the line police." Ugh, I don't know why some people think it's ok to cut in line, not wait their turn, and condone the behavior. I ignored these people and continued my enforcement about 10 times while we waited in the main line before heading to the bridge. Once on the ride this ride was generally liked by our little one, until right at the end when the turn in after the scene brakes gave her a good knock on the head.

From here we decided to take a round trip on the train. Here's where I need you fellow enthusiasts. Along the train route, there are several areas with very tiny "footers" if you will along on both the left and right. What are these, and what was standing there or once stood around the train. I was slightly curious as they looked quite old and even the studs showed a great deal of rust on them.

Also for those that haven't ridden the train or enjoyed it's course, dunno if anyone noticed this guy hanging out along the route :P

After getting off the train, I don't know if anyone else has had the pleasure of doing it, but you can actually go up and take a look at their propane engines. Little facts, every two hours the train goes through 1200 gallons of water, it produces about 400-ish horsepower and has I believe he said 12 speed selections. If you haven't done it, go up, the engineers are actually very cool and actually have alot of knowledge to toss your way. I am a little disappointed still that unlike CP having coal engines, and these are kinda...fake..but still pretty awesome

Anyways, after that we decided to do surf dog, I stayed behind, I'm not into that ride, my stomach would hate me for hours after that. So while everyone but me decided to ride, I got turned into the pack mule for all prizes, bags, and belongings.

Anyways, after surf dog, the night started to set. We split up and Lindzey and her sister decided to go do Monster/Viking fury a few more times, while we decided to go do Drop Tower and Sky Flyer. I will say, it's odd seeing six arm operation, especially when it's alot more inefficient than even four arm. We NEVER really used six arm op on monster except days where you have no choice like 04JUL, ect. Plus I feel bad for this monster crew, they can't control the ride to the degree we can, it's a bit delayed and not as touchy. Lasty, their operation is slightly odd and somewhat sketchy IMO. They shut down everything in between every cycle which will help keep the ride cool and is a true full e-stop. However, having to get the pumps back up and running, and then move the ride, or if you need to bring an arm down in an emergency or guest illness, ect. You can't just clear the ride area, move it and be done. We always left our two pumps on, but turned on the ecentric motors (motors that spin each arm) at the start of each cycle. Anyways, man, Drop Tower as always...ugh kills me. Also talking to the ride op about the Allen Bradley panel and what it does, he says it logs every ride, weight, engine specs, ect. He said at this time it's basically had if I remember correctly like 160,000 cycles since the ride was built and in operating condition, pretty neat.

After that all three of us got our tickets for sky flyer and had a blast as per usual. Best moment of the ride other than the initial descent itself was waiting to get unhooked. The second group of girls in front of us got embarassed to all holy hell, and the ride ops did everything to not laugh but they ended up laughing. During their hookup when they drop them to the floor, the one came swooping right at me into my no no square ^^_. I then replied "woah, woah woah, dinner and a movie first, I ain't about that life." She started glowing bright red, and everyone was laughing..Sadly though, I got checked out a few seconds later and got a "bye." I lol'd...no bachelor life for me anymore however, but still, epic win on my part.

Anyways, we met up again after that and headed up to tower and watched the fireworks. I wish I could have tried the new phones camera some more but ah well it died. Fireworks good and typical as usual. Once we got back down, we hit up the shops one last time and bought great bricks of fudge. We purchased a green mint & chocolate fudge, snickers bar fudge, and chocolate peanut butter I believe. The green mint fudge....mmmm...I'm surprised that brick is still intact...ah well.

We left through the front gate, headed over to our car, and made the long hour or so drive back home up to base. Good day, nice and long, lots of fun and stuff, and did stuff I normally don't do

Lastly, here is a quick montage video my phone made of videos, zoe's, and pictures I took through the day. I really like the features this phone has in regards to this stuff. Not entirely worth being stolen to get this new phone, but the upgrade is quite impressive and very enjoyable to have and use.

Hope all of you enjoyed reading, it's alot as per usual, but I am very detailed :)
