I didn't realize there were any other coasters in New Orleans since SFNO closed, but apparently there's still one more.

City Park in New Orleans will get a brand new Lady Bug roller coaster.

After Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans in 2005 roller coaster and theme park enthusiasts turned their attention in New Orleans to Six Flags New Orleans being closed indefinitely with its mostly ruined rides and infrastructure. One roller coaster and park actually returned to operation: City Park. The park's Zierer Lady Bug roller coaster reopened and ran until 2011 when corrosion was discovered at the base of the ride.
