Diving through the Woods?

The Ride renderings for Diamondback and now Banshee show them diving through a beautifully wooded forest. But obviously that isn't case. Would you want Kings Island to invest into getting some trees planted or could not care at all? Do you think they will?

I noticed when watching a 1979 Beast POV that the area seemed a lot less "forest" around the ride, but now, for me is one of the best things about The Beast, it twists and turns wonderfully through a very scenic forest.

I really hope over time Kings Island get some nice trees through the Banshee and Diamondback course, it would make it all the more exciting.

The key is doing SOMETHING. If they heavily planted near Diamondback when they built the ride, it would look silly for a few years, but be well forested in 10. I think the unfortunate point of view in 2009 was that it wasn't worth it, so they planted two or three dogwoods in a grassy sloping field around the splashdown. It will look almost exactly like that in 2019 until they put something real in there.

Banshee will rely even more on the woods. Instead of big, tall, parabolic hills, Banshee will be low to the ground, diving in valleys and following the terrain. Trees will be essential for that, so I hope and pray they invest.

There needs to be room to bring in the big cranes in the event that track needs replaced.

Why plant trees only to take them out again?

How often do you think track needs replaced on Diamondback? Many coasters are located in the woods and still manage to have regular maintenance and upkeep without having to remove every tree around the ride.

I personally love trees, as well I am "An major woods enthusiast", but here are my thoughts on the subject.

Do I want D-B to get a full out woodland, yes! That would change the landscape so much and would put some great elements into the area. To be honest woodlands compared to plains, woodlands always wins in my book. Now let's think literally now, what could be some of the disadvantages to this? I- they have to trim the trees to make sure they do not get into the way of D-B, which that costs money. II- They need the area for maintenance. You know the story, you are on Diamondback, and you loose your phone out of your pants pocket. What do you do? Go to Lost and Found of course, but in a field, it is very easy to find the items, but in a forest you could loose your favorite hat or your own phone to the trees below. III- This costs so much money! Now I am just your above average waterpark enthusiast who just happens to love coasters as well, I am not an experienced person nor do I represent the park, but I do have common sense. Everything we may want, costs money to where the park does not see it fit to put the money to these simple things. If it works, why take it out? (Well in cases)
