Hello everyone! I am a new member and was curious if anybody has any idea as to when the season starts for Cedar Fair parks:Dorney Park, Kings Dominion, and Carowinds?

Both Kings Dominion and Carowinds have typically opened between the end of March and the beginning of April. I'm not sure when Dorney typically opens--I want to say mid-May, but I could be confusing it with Valleyfair.

If you're looking for the specific day they open, the parks unfortunately haven't made that info available yet. Sorry! In previous years, the operating calendars for Cedar Fair parks were usually released in January. If they continue that trend, you've only got a few weeks to go.

Thanks for the welcome and yes this helps. Just curious because I became a platnium member for Cedar Fair this coming season and want to check other parks.

I would love to visit KD or CW on spring break that would be fun I think.

At KD, at least, expect a packed park with short staffing and hours during Spring Break. Also check the park calendar. You don't want to travel to a closed park.
