APE
Registration for camping closed at noon, however you can still sign up to be apart of the event and stay in a hotel.
jcgoble3
Oh, now I see that.
Ride On_17
I hope we hear soon. I'm pretty nervous about it. I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but it'd be disappointing if I don't get in. The suspense is killing me!
ohiocolts
I didn't sign up. Somebody better take if they win .
LongTimeLurker
I missed the camping registration but I registered as a non-camper. I was looking at hotels and would you say its worth the extra $30 to stay at Hotel Breakers over Breakers Express? It seems like it is but having never made the trip North I figured I'd ask. Edit: Never mind, I found my answer.

APE
I just got a call from Cedar Point's marketing. They said they were refining the Coaster Campout list and asked how many I would have with me. So if you get a call from Sandusky that's what it is about.
Ride On_17
Has anyone else got a call? I haven't yet.
APE
Winners have been notified. Everyone else will still get an e-mail. They are setting up a reserve of some sort so that if people back out those spots can be filled. Now for a little bit of a rant. I cannot stand lottery systems and not just with this. I have never been picked in any of them. Every year since they have been doing it I sign up for the Reds opening day ticket opportunity and the years they were in the playoffs. I have never been picked. There have been others too. It's just frustrating, had this been first come first serve I would have got in because I made sure I was away from work and ready to register the moment it started. End of rant. Congratulations to those who did get picked!
thedevariouseffect
I hear ya.. Hate to say it but I think a few spots were rigged...Alot of coaster club head members/big members got it, people close to Tony, etc..Sure there were a few family and enthusiast random picks, but I feel some slots were reserved.. Just my opinion.. But honestly mate, you're not missing much. You're either sleeping on grass in Area 3 around noisy rides which will be running and being fixed at night and all other nighttime activities, and possible muffleheads. Then you have concrete for camping, which to me negates the camping.. You're not missing out. Wanna spend the night at the point, sleep in the car on point or right outside of it like at say the Dorm parking lot or somewhere right there. Better conditions IMO honestly. The ERT and events to me were the only worth it things. The tenting itself, I'll pass.
OldieButGoodie
The boys and I will be there, but as an old guy I just don't want to camp so we'll be at Breakers. They extended us for a day (at 188/night) so we can do the weekend, which will make the 3-hour drive more palatable! I know it's not exactly 'quiet' at night, so camping but not sleeping just isn't good for me. Hope to see some of you guys there!
jcgoble3
I haven't gotten any email or call about my camping registration yet. Should I have gotten something by now?
