I'm taking my first trip to KI in early June and I have a Platinum Pass for CP, whats the perks at KI with one? Is it the same as CPs perks? Thanks for the help!

You get 10 percent off on all food items ( except, I think, Chick Fil A). I think you get the discount on other merchandise but I would check with the park on that.

There is early entry a half hour early for Banshee and Bat and other select rides. Also, this past Friday night, there was ERT on Banshee and Bat from 10:30-Midnight-I think KI may be trying to adopt CP's periodic night ERT policy-I certainly hope so as it was a lot of fun.

If I remember right I do not believe Panda Express is part of the discount. Neither is the Reds HOF Grille.

If it is the same as last year, I believe you can get a free appetizer with the purchase of 2 entrees, which have to be on the same check in order to get the benefit. My mistake on this, totally forgot about that perk last season.

Hmmm. Good to know, I was not aware they were doing the 10% discount. I figured it would just be the same deal as last year (which in some cases is well over 10%).

So far I've got discounts on merchandise, and food at Kings Island. At Cedar Point I got an awesome discount on one of their hotels.

So, if I am not mistaken, food discounts everywhere at KI except Panda Express and Chick Fila. Interestingly, you do get a discount at Starbucks.

This isn't a Gold/Platinum Pass perk but I really like the idea of the flash drives they are doing now for ride photos. You can utilize your pass discount to purchase the flash drive for around $20 (if I remember right) and then each picture after that will be $5.49 with your discount. We never bought pictures because one they are too pricy and two they usually ended up getting messed up. The flash drive and discount has solved the problem. Plus once on the drive they are yours to do with as you wish.
