Pbmcd Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 What will the crowds and wait times be like on Tuesday June 17th? Also do any rides close during the week because of lower crowds? Also do you have any lodging suggestions? Thanks! Quote
Banshee Back VII Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Also, what's the best ride to start on? Do you want to go to warm up, or head for the coaster with the shortest line? Quote
malem Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 What will the crowds and wait times be like on Tuesday June 17th? That's hard to predict. It will depend highly on the weather, along with numerous other factors. Weekdays in June are typically much less crowded than summer weekends. Also do any rides close during the week because of lower crowds? Rides in the main park generally don't close due to light (or even nonexistent) crowds. Also do you have any lodging suggestions? Thanks! See this recent topic for suggestions: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/29454-hotels/ 1 Quote

Sonofbeast2.0 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 As far as rides to ride when you first get there, if you are getting their in the morning, I would recommend riding Firehawk first then Banshee. As Firehawk, may look like a short wait, but it has a low rider per hour. Later in the day it line can be 60-90min long easily and not look like it. Quote
Magenta Lizard Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 If you're going to get there at opening, I like to start with The Beast. It rocks, but since it is older the excitement has worn down so it's not a lot of people's first thought. It's also at the back of the park, so you can get that hike in on fresh legs while simultaneously avoiding most of the other park visitors. It'll let you get in a first exciting ride with very little wait. Then swing around to Diamondback. Quote

Sonofbeast2.0 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Well if your getting their when it opens Flight of Fear and Firehawk shouldn't have no longer than a 10min wait. 1 Quote

NoChickens Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Firehawk, Flight of Fear, and Backlot Stunt Coaster are all slow lines. If you want to ride them, I'd hit them as early as possible. What appear to be long lines on Banshee, Diamondback and Vortex, should not be feared, those lines move pretty quick. 3 Quote

NightlyBeast Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 I usually hit Banshee first and work my way around. Quote
