What are crowds like over summer weekdays? Also does racer run backwards anymore? Does anyone have any tips as to what rides to ride first or where to eat and where to stay? Sorry for randomness but thanks!

The Racer does not run backwards. It's nostalgia. And it's always capitalized here. Crowds vary, with weather being a big factor. Banshee gets the crowds first. If you have a gold or platnum pass, ERT may or may not be worth doing.

Summer weekdays are hit or miss, they can be either extremely crowded or pretty easy to deal with, usually depends on weather and any events going on.

Racer is not backwards anymore.

I would hit up the big rides and low capacity rides first before crowds get too bad (Diamondback, Firehawk, FOF, etc.).

Where to eat at in the park, plenty of options but I usually go with LaRosa's, Skyline, or now Chicken Shack.

As for where to stay, not sure, I am from this area so have never stayed in a hotel around here.

The riders are up on Drop Tower. And then they aren't. That's kind of how it works.

Recently, some have been down on it as it has not been up--apparently it wasn't up to it, which many found a downer.
