TTD-120-420 Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 This was announced over a year ago. It's cool to finally see the insides of the houses. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2503363/Meet-people-love-Disney-moved-there.html http://coasterbuzz.com/Forums/Topic/disney-developing-a-residential-neighborhood-on-property-at-walt-disney-world 1 Quote
BB1 Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I got a brochure in the mail months ago, so already i knew a little bit about the project. But this isn't the first rodeo, Celebration, FL is an successful community created by our friends at Disney. 1 Quote
Voicetek Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Wow, only $1.8 million? Well then, let me just cash the pay check I just got today and head on down there and purchase one. 11 Quote
bkroz Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 We could all buy out a whole block and have a KIC neighborhood in WDW! 11 Quote

Gabe Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I have seen these homes being constructed. They are quite nice. The property itself is located basically across the street from the Port Orleans resort, so it's very centrally located on property. For a low six figure price, you can purchase a DVC unit in the new Grand Floridian villas or the new bungalows at the Poly. Of course you won't have the same level of privacy, but I'm guessing there will be high demand for these homes, given how the market has rebounded nicely combined with low interest rates. Quote

LongLiveTheSmurfRide Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Yeah, I already got my bid in for a house. I'm going to try to negotiate on the price a little. See if they can't bring it down a dozen hundred thousand dollars or so. 10 Quote

jsus Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Yeah, I already got my bid in for a house. I'm going to try to negotiate on the price a little. See if they can't bring it down a dozen hundred thousand dollars or so. "Hmm, you're looking for a $1.2 million discount? I think we can work with that a little." "Here's our counter. We came down by $500. You in?" 7 Quote
Gabe Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Permanent Real Estate for sale to the public in the heart of the Mouse is scarce, and this location is far far better than Celebration's. I expect these homes to sell for close to full value and sell quickly. 5 Quote
Sonofbeast2.0 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I have $35, will that cover it? Darn just a few hundred million pennies short... 3 Quote
kingsislandfan1972 Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 We could all buy out a whole block and have a KIC neighborhood in WDW! That is definitly a good idea, I like DisneyWorld, but I would be farther away from Kings Island, that and I'm not a millonaire. 3 Quote
KIBeast Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Son of Beast 2.0, maybe you could get a loan from Dick Kinzel. I hear he has lots of nickels. 1 Quote
