Gabe
As of Feb. 25, Disney is changing the reservation system for BOG. Up until now, only resort guests could make a reservation for lunch 60 days out and only if they received a special email invite from Disney. Starting Feb. 25th, lunch reservations can be made for everyone (Not just park guests) and are treated as a regular Advanced Dining Reservation. When you make your reservation, you will also pre-select your meals. Of course, you can change those selections once you're there) For those of you going to the resort and are looking to eat at BOG, lunch is your best option, as dinner reservations are still very hard to get. I've eaten there for both meals and found lunch to be much more enjoyable and affordable.
Voicetek
My wife and I decided to check this restaurant out when we were down there on our honeymoon back in November of 2013. We happened to get extremely lucky and got in without having prior reservations. There was one more open reservation for the day and we snagged it. It truly is an amazing place to eat, even if it's just to go in and check out the atmosphere of the place. I highly recommend checking it out at least once!

Standby is still available for both lunch and dinner, so even if you don't have an ADR and want to go, it's still possible, esp if you opt for an earlyish dinner or lunch.
shark6495
We placed our reservation for June. We have the dining plan. We will be eating at 9pm.... But I heard nothing but good about the place so we will be having a late night in the park

Errrmmm but if you're going to eat at the restaurant, you have to be in the park right? Hence 'park guest'? Everyone eating there is a park guest. I'm probably over-analyzing something, but I am quite confused.
Magenta Lizard
I think that parenthetical was meant to be "(not just resort guests)"
RailRider
The atmosphere of Be our Guest is absolutely stunning. One of the most amazing thematic restaurants on property, but I am not a huge fan of the food. There are many other places I like better, but it should not be missed. Try the Grey stuff.

One would be surprised to learn what the Grey Stuff actually is . It's not on the menu; you must ask for it. Even if you have a late reservation, it's always worth a shot to see the host/ess at the entrance to the foot bridge to see if they can move you up. The ADR and FP+ systems are dynamic and change on a dime. The issue with the old BOG system was that only certain resort guests were getting the lunch email. Of course, once various Disney sites began posting the link, everyone jumped on board, prompting the change.
