Best Seats on Coasters

Featured Replies

I prefer the front seat of them all, honestly.

But that may be because roughness or bumpiness doesn't bother me.

IIRC, the second seat on The Racer, blue train if it makes a difference, didn't seem very bumpy.

Maybe it was just me, but it seriously felt like it was abnormally smooth in that seat.

For me, the best seat in the park is the very back seat(s) on Diamondback.  Being pulled over the top by the rest of the train on that first hill is amazing!  Then push your hands back on the splash-d

On Mean Streak, the very best seat is on the bench out in front. On Maverick, it's Row 1 or that same bench. For me. And Maverick is now and remains my most favoritest rolley coaster on the planet

I can assure you that Kingda Ka at 128 in pouring rain hurts like he$@&"!

On three row cars, the center seat isn't over a wheel, so it is smoother. It wasn't your imagination.

I rode Racer on a "wheel seat" last year, accidentally, and it vibrated so much it made me think I had gotten too old for riding Racer.

I remember attending the first "Coasting for Kids" and having a blast on Racer until I ended up in a "Wheel" seat. Riding there for a couple rounds effectively ended my riding that day.
