June 7, 201511 yr Here is story I came across that was quite interesting from 2008. Talking about how Theme Parks such as Six Flags and Cedar Fair would survive after the economic meltdown. http://www.newsweek.com/amusement-parks-can-six-flags-survive-economy-90869
June 7, 201511 yr I can't read it because it says that I have reached the limit of 5 free articles per month. Which makes no sense because I cannot ever remember looking at an article on Newsweek.com in the past several months.
June 7, 201511 yr Try Googling the article title. That might get you into it. "Amusement Parks: Can Six Flags Survive the Economy?"
June 7, 201511 yr ^ Tried it; didn't work. Got the same message. Also cleared all cookies for newsweek.com. That didn't work either.
June 7, 201511 yr It's interesting looking back at stories that shaped public opinion during that critical election year. I would never have imagined 'meal plans,' much less 'free wi-fi' seven years ago. I guess when the going gets tough, the tough... innovate.

June 8, 201511 yr Interesting. I guess, compared to then, today is the new "Golden Age" of amusement parks.
