While looking at ticket prices for SFGAm, a promo popped up hinting at an announcement on Sept. 3.

Honestly the 2016 announcement that would make me the most happy is the restoration of the Revolution at Magic Mountain. I've never ridden it, but I have little interest when it appears to be as neutered as it is.

Trains that introduced migraine-inducing head-banging over the shoulder restraints and trim brakes that were supposed to stifle the banging of heads. They only made the ride worse in most eyes. When? 1992.

Looks like the rumors have SFOG and SFGAm getting Justice League dark rides, SFDK getting an RMCC makeover of Roar (though that's more or less confirmed), and SFGAd getting an S&S 4-D coaster.
