Jr. Pass vs. Gold Pass

I'm new here and hoping this group can help answer a question for me.  I went to KI a ton as a kid and worked there as a teenager but stopped going as an adult until this year.  I have a 2 year old, so my husband and I bought gold passes last year and took her some this year.

We plan to renew for next year, but by then my daughter will be 3 and will now need a pass.  I am wondering if I should buy her a gold pass at the current price or wait and get her a junior regular pass.

The trouble is, I have no clue how much a jr. regular pass will cost and I've been unsuccessful in finding an answer.  I emailed KI, but they just gave me a list of reasons why I should get her a gold pass instead and didn't answer my question about the cost.  If I wait to find out, the price of the gold pass will go up.

Most of the perks of a gold pass don't apply to her.  She doesn't need free parking or discounts.  The only perk I am concerned about is that the regular pass doesn't allow you to go during the fall.  I'm not exactly sure when that starts (Labor day or when Halloween Haunt begins?).

Does anyone know how much jr. regular passes were this year?

This season, junior passes were only applicable at the platinum level. Regular and gold passes were one price, valid for ages 3 and up.

It's worth noting that the regular pass will cost more than the current price of the gold pass when it goes on sale. Buying during the fall sale gets you more perks at a lower price.

Welcome, by the way!

as a bonus, that junior pass traditionally stopped working on or around labor day, the gold pass continued thru the hall-o-ween season.  I've found sundays in the fall to be a relaxing way to spend time with the kids.  The hall-o-ween transition for kids over in the water park is well done, plus all of Planet Snoopy is open as well.  If you are getting a pass for your child, best bet is to go with the gold pass now at its lowest cost.
