Sally's Volcanikus 4D

Featured Replies

Not a bad fit for the former Crypt building. In fact, the few pieces of concept art shown look like they might as well be of the Crypt's queue. Sort of a fun concept - the old cavern entrance is a lava tube that's broken up from the ground of Rivertown.

Get me a Diet Coke while you are there... Lol

The ride actually sounds more like Toy Story Midway Mania. I'm thinking the crypt building would need a large extension but the ride sounds like fun ya'll!

Considering Sally was behind the critically-acclaimed Justice League dark rides at select Six Flags parks (that somehow aped even the still-legendary Spider-Man attraction at IOA in some aspects), I am super excited to see this concept come to fruition wherever it gets installed. Hopefully Cedar Fair will jump on this concept and contract Sally for the rest of their "Amusement Dark" rides after the lackluster Guardian and Iron Reef attractions.

Give me a handmade, story driven, creative idea darkride...these interactive ones are all the flippn same. The ones with the pew pew even more. But alas, as cheap and shotty and unimagined as they are...I'm sure cheap is exactly what seasonal parks want.

Agreed, but it is what it is.

Why? I don't know.

Does it really improve returns to have the word "interactive" in the description? Maybe.

To me the interactivity comes from the excitement and atmosphere, not from shooting targets.

I was half expecting the video at one point to say, "A heavily themed, totally immersive, dark ride adventure."
