From experience does anyone know if the season passes go on sale again before the start of the season, or shortly after the season starts? I am REALLY kicking myself for not picking up the passes in OCT.

You can buy a season pass at any time.

Prices start low and go up as the season gets closer. Also, it should be noted that Gold passes (free parking, access to operating days after Labor Day, and many other benefits) are no longer sold after Memorial Day weekend. The current prices are almost certainly the best you'll find on 2016 season passes.

 

Your best shot at a "discount" might be to buy at a participating Kroger store during one of their 4x fuel points promotions. If you have a credit card that offers extra points/miles at grocery stores, you might consider that as well.

Thanks guys. I figured they wouldn't have a sale again but man they were $90 in Oct and now I am going to be paying $120 a piece. Well now I know to get them at the end of this year.
