Six Flags St. Louis Boomerang accident.

Featured Replies

Thoughts for all involved.

Hopefully the ride can also be repaired, I really liked it as well as the rest of Six Flags St. Louis.

Yikes- thank goodness no one was seriously injured (at least from what I have read all injuries were minor) but seeing that car derailed like that makes me think this was probably a scary experience for everyone on that train at least. I'd guess a wheel assembly on that car probably failed or something, but I can't say for sure until Six Flags releases their final assessment on this.

I'm just glad it was able to detect a problem and stop on those brakes. Had the car continued and engaged the lift this could have been much worse.

Where did it say it did?  I'd say more likely the only reason the brakes stopped it there was because they where in the way of the derailed car.  Agreed though, it could have been much worse.

For some reason I can't open the articles. Not sure what happened.

To many people gettin hurt nowadays.

That's one good thing we can say about Cedar Fair. Their safety record is pretty well second to none.

I think it's probably my phone. I haven't tried on the computer yet.

It's not sayin it's broke or anything. It just won't load.
