Lost Gold Pass

Featured Replies

So during the course of the 2016 Kings Island season I lost my gold pass. I have already used 1 temporary pass and I have been old that I could have used 2 more, but since that season is over I guess not anymore. My questions is: Will i have to buy a completely different pass for the 2017 season altogether?

I'd call them. They'd be able to pull up the number on the pass for you, and you can renew it with that.

There is a "nominal" charge to replace the pass.   Probably $10 or less.

FYI: The KI smartphone app allows you to scan your card in so you can use the app instead if you forget the plastic.

It was $15 to replace a pass 7 years ago. If you renew your pass at the park, they will have your picture/ pass information stored in the system.

If you haven't yet used your pass this season, they might waive the replacement fee. Wouldn't hurt to ask.

This is generally for guests who renew, but misplace their plastic card over the off-season.

Also, if you haven't, stop by lost and found and see if your pass was turned in. You would think they would inform people if their pass is found, but they don't. There is a large box of turned-in lost passes, separated alphabetically.

I've turned in probably a dozen that I have found personally.

A nice thing to note. If you lost last year's pass, but renewed it for 2017, they will give you one free since you could have opted for a new one for free anyways. Lost one once, called Customer Support, they just said to swing by processing for a new one, they will mark it in the system.
