I have been to SFMM and rode X, Arrow would need to improve upon smoothness, evem though they are known for rough rides. Good concept, bad execution. Maybe if B&M made their own 4D...

Floorless is for me. I rode Scream! at SFMM and it was amazing. Something never before seen would be my second choice though.

i think it's about time we saw an intamin giga or hyper go up...not just some 225 foot tall coaster...in the upper 200's to lower 300's. that would REALLY juice up the park and show the rest of the world that ohio is not a state to be messed with in the way of coasters. i'd LOVE to see something just a few feet longer than steel dragon 2k.

if anyone knows the story, steel dragon 2k in japan opened only months after millennium force did. SD2K is only 8 feet taller and 2/3 mi/hr faster than millie.

i'm thinking intamin giga...340 ft. tall, 97-98 mi/hr, 8,700 ft. long. that would blow everything else out of the water cept TTD.

our "latest" complete-circuit, full-size coaster we have is OL: FoF and it was built in 1996. 7 years ago! its time we see something big within the next two years...pki is overdue.

I would love to see a B&M Flying Coaster. I rode Superman Ultimate Flight at Six Flags over Georgia and it was amazing. Flying through the air on your stomach is a great experience. The pretzel loop was crazy! Only thing was that it's too short, a B&M Flying with a pretzel loop and plenty of ride time is what I want. laugh.gif

make sure you add in some overbanked turns.... that would be great.... first state to get 2 gigas...

i went to Cedar Point for 3 days back in june and rode everything.... milli 5 times, 3 in front row, and its amazing

my idea was to take everything in WW and shift it over to the right side.... and have a giga going over the paths and helixes around the water rides.... that would be great

I would love to see a nice inverted coaster(RAPTOR,ALPIENGEIST) built over the small lake behind the second antique car station. They need some kinda ride in that area of the park it seems deserted over there.

A good dangle foot over the lake would be way cool.Probably be better than RAPTOR if it was themed. Some good leg choppers a tunnel or two. Maybe make it green and call it something like"SWAMPTHING or CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON" Just my thoughts.

You will probably not see another stratacoaster anywhere for a long time. I'm sure that Cedar Point went in to some kind of agreement with Intamin not to build another one. Yeah, someone else could try, but I don't think anyone will considering the problems that CP has had with Dragster. People ten to forget that Giga or Strata or Hyper does not really mean type of ride...it refers to height, hyper meaning 200', giga meaning 300' and strata meaning 400'.

there's a reason new intamin gigas and hypers have the elevator lift...if you know anything about steel dragon 2000, you know it has two chains. thats right..two. one for the first half of the lift and another one for the second half of the lift. this just isn't practical. more and more coasters that are taller and taller will be recieving elevator lifts or something of the sort. they're fast, quiet and more reliable.

For those wondering (if any at all) there are two chains on SD2K because the weight of a chain that long would require a huge motor that would burn out quicker most likely than a shorter chain and engine system.

I would really love to see anything from Intamin that is twisty (curving back and forth), a few bunny hops, possibly an inversion of some sort.

I would like a nice, smooth coaster with a ride experience similar to Top Gun: The Jet Coaster at Crowinds. It wouldn`t have to be inverted, and it could be a little longer than TG:TJC, but that ride is awesome. I could ride that ride all day. If PKI built a ride that was better than this ride, than I truly think that they would have a true winner on their hands, and would then have a complete collection of roller coasters, IMO.

But elevators just dont have the clinkity clack.

Neither do launched coasters.

Hershey Park is building a new coaster next year. It is a launched coaster with inversions, made by Intamin. I really like the concept, there are many things that could be done with it!

Hershey's 2004 coaster
