Let it snow?

I have been to Winterfest at KI 7 times this year (its my favorite time to go lol) and have never seen the snow machines working.    They were working in full force at visits to kings dominion and Carowinds this year.  

Did something  happen to make them turn them off at ki?

They turn on during the tree lighting as well as sporadically throughout the night. I’ve seen them work several times - including last night. I can assure you that they work - they just aren’t on constantly.

The "snow" I've seen on international street is actually tiny soap bubbles. I have seen actual snow machines at KI.

I would imagine the soap water would freeze and doesn't work if the temperature drops too low... Perhaps that's why you haven't seen it.

It was much colder last year and I remember seeing them work consistently then.    Maybe their procedure changed.
