SOB/Gun Steve-O Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 (edited) I got almost all of them in here - sorry Drew, not enough room for the ship. My favorite is Face/Off. Edited January 1, 1970 by SOB/Gun Steve-O Quote
PKI_Man Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 (edited) Delirium is the number one in AZ,plus Sparky's crew rocks Edited January 1, 1970 by PKI_man Quote
FSASBoxcarRace14 Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 Gotta go with Face/Off on this one guyz, I start off every day with it and it is great everytime. Delirium is not far behind though. And yes their crew is awesome Quote
fryler87 Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 Delirium will forever (well maybe not forever, but for a long time) rock on!!! Is it just me or is Adventure Express in Oktoberfest? Quote
monkeyman Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 Is it just me or is Adventure Express in Oktoberfest? Yes, it is. Quote
PKI Punk Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 I would say Face Off, but everytime I go to PKI, the line for it is like 2 hours line. Quote
Solid Snake Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 Delirium, then Drop Zone... the coasters get tired quick. To me there is much re-ride value to roller coasters. Quote
coasterrz Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 Solid Snake, do you mean coasters DON`T have much re-ride value? I think that is what you mean since you said that coasters get tired quick. Quote
PKI Punk Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 Solid Snake, if coasters have no reride value, then why are coasters the most popular rides at amusement parks? Quote
Solid Snake Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 (edited) Solid Snake, do you mean coasters DON`T have much re-ride value? I think that is what you mean since you said that coasters get tired quick. Yes, that is what I mean. Thank you for the correction. I'll have to proof read for now on. Solid Snake, if coasters have no reride value, then why are coasters the most popular rides at amusement parks? Well I'm not sure about other amusement parks but I do recall times when my friends and I ( ) would go up to PKI and we would want to go on rides such as: SDaTHC, Delirium, and Tomb Raider but did not because the lines for these rides were so long. So, we settle for coasters instead (SoB,Top Gun, AE, Racer & recaR, Vortex, the Best). Still love the coasters but I enjoy the flats and SDaTHC much more. *Edit: Had to fix the quote. PKI Punk Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 A friend of mine was scared to death when he first rode DZ, now it is his favorite ride. Quote
Solid Snake Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 A friend of mine was scared to death when he first rode DZ, now it is his favorite ride. Heh. Yeah, my friend was scared to... So scared it turned his skin ghostly white! I don't understand why people are so scared of that ride. Quote
aero11 Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 Drop Zone is the only ride that I still get scared on every time I ride it. That's why it got my vote. Quote
Beastfreak Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 SOB... I'm one of the few people who actually really enjoy the ride. Quote
PKI Punk Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 (edited) SOB is a great ride, but man it is violent. And Solid Snake, that ghost white think is REAL funny Edited January 1, 1970 by PKI Punk Quote
SOB/Gun Steve-O Posted January 10, 2004 Author Posted January 10, 2004 I don't understand why people are so scared of that ride. WHAT?! Come on dude, you're about as high as the tower and you know you're gonna fall straight down - plus, unlike on a coaster, you get a full panoramic view. Quote
AZ Kinda Guy Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 Thanks for the crew compliments folks. Sarah and I's crew does kick butt and it shows! Haha Drew. SlingShot made the list and Ship didn't. As for my two cents. I thought nothing could beat freefalling on DZ but I stand corrected. The awesome machine that is Delirium is now my favorite in the entire park let alone the Zone! Quote
Solid Snake Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 WHAT?! Come on dude, you're about as high as the tower and you know you're gonna fall straight down - plus, unlike on a coaster, you get a full panoramic view Yes dude, I know. I was kidding. Again. Delirium in my favorite ride. Quote
SOB/Gun Steve-O Posted January 10, 2004 Author Posted January 10, 2004 Oh, sorry. Its kind of hard to tell when you're seeing it typed instead of hearing it being said. Quote
PKI Punk Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 Delirium is without a doubt, the greatest ride in AZ. Quote
PKIguy14 Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 Of all the rides I have been on in AZ (which is all except the extra charge rides), I am going to have to vote for Delirium. Also, could someone tell me if Xtreme Skyflyer is worth the $10? Quote
coasterrz Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 I`ve never tried Skyflyer or Slingshot yet I have seriously considered doing both of them, but each time I am not sure if they are worth the cost. Of the two, I think Slingshot would be more thrilling, and you have the added option of buying your on-ride video, for even more money. Sorry I couldn`t answer your question. Quote
Solid Snake Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 I hear it is awesome. I never have been on it. But I hear X-Flyer is a great ride. Quote
GreenGhost2003 Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 I think There All Kick Ass and Great in there own View Quote
PKI Punk Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 I would think that Slingshot would be more exciting than SkyFlyer. But, I think SkyFlyer is cheaper than Slingshot. Quote
fryler87 Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 (edited) As I recall, SkyFlyer USED to be terribly expensive...WAY more that a mere $10 per person. I would do it once just to say I've done it. As for SlingShot....holy crap. I can't imagine being thrust almost 300 feet in the air in a small cage attached to two thin steel towers by four cables. I'm sure it's a hell of a rush - I can remember hearing people screaming their arses off. It's definitely fun to watch that thing fly, especially at night. Edited January 1, 1970 by fryler87 Quote
