BoddaH1994 Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 The other thread has turned into a "yes vs no" thread, so let's take a vote to it.
TheKlockster Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I think you should merge the boards, and make it like the PKIC boards, but keep the PKIU Employees forum, and then add a unmoderated forum where anything goes.
dxrunner Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 (edited) NO, i stated my reason in a different thread. Dont feel like retyping. Sorry tom Edited November 19, 2004 by Dxrunner
SOB_TOM Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 Hey DX, can we get a reason please? All I know is that both communities, no matter what happens, we need to reach an agreement. This is why we are asking everyones opinion.
Pirate of PKI Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 No because I like each in it's own seperate ways, and I like PKIU's better. Simple as that!
BoddaH1994 Posted November 19, 2004 Author Posted November 19, 2004 Why would it matter whose forums are whose? The same people basically run both of them. That's not going to change.
pki_guy Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 I think that the forums should be merged. Like other people have said, take the best of both sites and make a PKI mega-site. I personally like PKIU's layout, and PKIC's pics and updates. As a longtime PKIU member, I would like to see it happen. But in order for that to happen, we need to reach a common ground. Not just with the layout and content of the site, but with the members as well. I've been at PKIU for a long time (at least is seems like a long time) and i've seen it alot of changes, but I think it's time for another change. It's going to be a more drastic and controversial change, but in the long run, I believe it will pay off. Once and if most people can settle their differences and show some respect for others, it will be better than either site ever was, or ever could be on their own. I know everyone learned these things in first grade, but some people forget that a little respect and courtesy goes a long way with others. (Not intending to offend anyone, I'm just trying to make a point)
