Captain Picard
Now that the coaster race is over do you think there will be a Non-coaster race?

italianchef
In my opinion, if there is to be a non-coaster race, Disney has already won it and Universal Orlando takes second place. So, in my opinion, it's not very likely. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
Captain Picard
I didn't think of it that way but I think parks will slow down on the coasters and look for other attractions.
Express44
Now that the coaster race is over do you think there will be a Non-coaster race? Maybe not exactly a race, but I do think that parks will look at what PKI did, and try to learn from their example. There is already a Giant Frisbee getting built in Europe and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more Huss Giant Rides go up here in the states. Express2924
I wouldn't call it a race, but I would definitely say that the new technology will be in flat rides. Let's face it, theres only so much you can do with a coaster before it becomes so extreme that the all the guests riding are passing out. Obviously there will always be options for flat rides to do this, that, and whatever else they can think of. I would anticipate a strong interest in flat rides by major parks over the next 10 years or so. With a coaster added in ever 4-5 years to keep the coaster enthusiasts happy.
