It is hard to use the search all the time. Especially considering it searches the PKIU and PKIC posts. I mean - if you do a search for Vortex - it will take you a long time to sift through the results!

Why thank you Klockster. That probly what happen the wheels scratch the paint off.

I'm not making fun of you. But about the paint, i've never seen the paint scratched that badly...whenever it is, there's a lighter, older coat of orange.

No - there are silver lines on the top and inside of the track. They are where paint has been rubbed off. You cant see it everywhere - just some spots. Intamin goes the extra distance to paint white lines on their track - where the wheels are going to rub it off!

I don't see any silver in that pic. I see the typical orange and blue. Didn't Vortex get repainted like in the last 2-3 years? There's no need to repaint it.

You know they give a fresh coat the baby every once in awhile. I am an expert at painting the coaster.

I know its not painted. What I am saying is that there are stripes on the track where the paint gets worn off. This happens on all tubular steel rail coasters. Intamin takes extra measures to protect theirs.
