I think the story is cool. You are auditioning to be on the Stunt Crew for the filming of The Italian Job. So it allows them to use the cool effects from the movie, as well as not necessairly put you in the role of Charlie Croker and his band of thieves.

Vortex has a good theme too though - let's not forget that. Vortex is a giant robot and it grabs your train and twists you around and throws you and drops you and all kinds of other stuff.

Yes but the theme for The Vortex is not know to the public. Other than the logos on the park map and on ride photos, they do not use the robotic arm, or set up the story of the robot for the public while in line.

PKI uses the same type of storyline of stunt doubles on Drop Zone.

Actually, I read on another post that you have to have a kid to ride The Beastie. New rules for 2005 . Maybe I just misunderstud the post but I was upset to find I have to have a kid with me to go on The Beastie. The Beastie has good airtime in my opinion.

I don't think you do, Because me and my cousin get on it all the time, and we are both way too old for it. They never say anything to us about it.

no, you do not have to have a child to ride The Beastie, trust me on this, i know...... geez people... ... there is a new height requirement on it, and several other rides, so everybody make sure to get a map, and check this out, for the sake of the ride ops!

Or pki could do what disney does and make a movie about the rides. LIke make a paramount movie on The Beast, Racer and Vortex.

I didn't even know they had an "unknown to the public" theme (i guess thats why I didn't know it). They really should theme Vortex b/c it's one of the few rides that isn't themed besides like the Action Zone rides.

Dumb question, but since IJST is based on an action movie, has come they didnt put it in the Action Zone. my only guess (besides maybe room) is b/c its a family ride....but isn't congo falls?

Because this was the location they chose for it. Action Zone is too crowded to add a new roller coaster, and where would they put it?

fan's right-there's literally no where to put anything ride-based in Action Zone. they're already using the patch of land behind SOB for the new campground in place of the new hotel for next year.
