I found this photo on Ebay of The Racer and the tower. The Racer is painted it’s original colors and the tower is an odd green.

Actually, its not a photo, its an artisits renduring of The Racer on a souvineer postcard. Very interesting, nice find!

Yeah, the Eiffel Tower was never that color. It's always been the same color you see today. Although, The Racer was painted those colors.

Tower has been varying degrees of the same color it is today.

You can tell the picture would have to be from before 1982. Both sides of The Racer are facing forwards and you can see the skyway running. (when did that get taken out anyways?)

They should restore everythingg to its original color. That would cost a fortune though.

well it is being painted a green shade this year, its not going to be light blue, but more like the statue of liberty.
