If you've ever tried to do impressions of classic ride voice recordings, you might be a Kings Island addict. Don't even try to tell me you haven't tried "now youuu will paaaay".

And you might be a theme and amusement park aficionado if most people on Six Flags fansites think you are a Cedar Fair partisan, most of those on Cedar Fair's kin sites think you favor those places that number their flags, the Buschies think you are a Disney sycophant, the Disney people don't know what to make of you and still many of the small park owners count you among their friends!

Terpy, I think of you as my friend although I may or may not become, or am presently, a small park owner...

Oh yea well i have one. You might be a KI adict if your imagining the ride up to the top of the Eiffel Tower and remeber hearing the old guy and his little farting machine

You might be a KIAddict if you really do care if the poster above you on the unofficial park fansite won that contest!

Did he?

He did! And he stayed up until 7 to win!

(changing subject slightly)

You may be a Millennium Force addict when: on your second visit to CP in two months, one of the MF ride ops recognizes you, smiles, and says "Hey, you're back!"

True story.

you may be a cp addict if you are watching national lampoon's vegas vacation and hear "ready to go" and think of standing in line for top thrill.

You might be a park industry aficionado if about six years ago, while boarding a Magnum XL-200 train at Cedar Point, the ride op recognized you....from your trips to Dorney Park (where said ride op was from and normally worked!). Also a true story! :)

You might be a KI Addict if you burn a CD entitled, Kings Island mix, and play it in your truck every morning on the way to school and on the way home.

You might be a coaster addict/KIaddict/KICaddict if when you're checking out at Barnes and Nobles (where you purchase a roller coaster calendar), you end up having a long discussion with the cashier that you noticed admiring your calendar and giving him links to KIC and other websites of coaster addicts...

true story!

ETA: You might be a KI addict if you spent 45+ minutes researching and writing an article for a different amusement park website about The Beast's 30th anniversary. At almost 5 a.m.

(see article here: http://www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/roller...html#post777492 )

You might be a coaster addict if, when eating at Friday's, you look at the Star Wars ship hanging on the wall and think "Millenium Force" instead of "Millenium Falcon".

Gator, who shamed himself as a Star Wars fan that day...

Buy yourself and your sister tickets for her birthday in January. Knowing that you are more exicted to go than she is and used her birthday as an excuse to go without your kids. I'm pathetic.

But can the Millennium Force make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs?! Can it outrun Imperial starships?! Not the local bulk cruisers mind you, I'm talking about the big Corellian ships now.

That's no moon; it's a B&M Hyper!

Or if most of the ride ops on The Beast and your children know each other by their first names.....

^It can as long as the only passengers are myself, a boy, two droids...and no questions asked!

What about the walking carpet.....I mean Wookie?

You might be a PKI addict if...you go to Jungle Jims just to see the monorail.

Guilty. Very guilty.

You might be a PKI addict if you scour the internet for 5 hours looking for videos capturing the Bavarian Beetle only to become aware that it has been posted many times... on You Tube. Just not as the name Bavarian Beetle.

You might be a KI addict if.. you are posting on the KIC forums and chatting with forum members on AIM at the same time..

You might be a KI addict if you plan out your next trip before you go, so well that you have it memorized.

You might be a KI addict if you can close your eyes and walk through Kings Island in your head.

Guilty

you might be a pki addict if you have lots of photoes of ki saved on your puter
Iknow what you mean.

You might be a pki if you stay up late at night looking at the photos and when your girl friend kicks you out,all you take with you out the door is the computer.

You might be a pki addict if you stand in long lines at walmart and talk to people in line about The Beast

and you never bought anything.

This happened to me today at work.

You know you are a KI addict when: one of your customers walks up to you, and asks you how to go about renewing their season pass.. and you work at Speedway.
