Cincinnati Water park wars

In my opinion the Beach was always the best as far as attrractions go untill the boomerang bay renovation. I think KI currently beats the Beach. However, I do remember Surf Cincinnati being the cheapest of the wave pool parks and being less crowded. Surf Cincinnati was my favorite, it was nice because it had all those picnic shelters and volleyball courts and a few pay ride such as mini golf, go karts, and bumper boats. My vote goes to Surf Cincinnati. Sunlite pool is awesome though and all those diving baords are really cool. They also have a few good slides. I went to Americana's pool once and it looked like a pool found at a Holiday Inn. What do you guys think?

Well Surf Cincinnati closed last year and I do not think it will open again, so I dont think I am going to vote for it. I like The Beach the best, mainly because of Aztec Adventure and The Cliff.

I went by Surf Cincinnati awhile ago and walked up to the gates, it looks so creppy empty. All the stairs to the slides are gon and the pool is just sitting their empty.

I drove by surf cincinnati last weekend to check it out (since I was my first job - cleaning pools before opening when I was 15 years old).

There are a few reminants around, but mostly everythign is gone.

The wave pool looks terrible.

If someone were to reopen it, they would have to completly rebuild everyting (except for maybe the wavepool and restroom building).

My vote goes to Boomerang Bay.

I went to The Beach May 21st & May 22nd, and the place is in shambles. The Typhoon Twist and Twilight Zoom had problems with people getting stuck on the slides. The wave pool was closed due to oil leaking into the water from the machinary. Volcanic Panic, their new ride for 2004, was nothing but a big dispointment. Jolly Mon' Shores and Snake River Rapids area was completely closed. Only one side of The Hidden Rapids was open and people were getting stuck as usual. The other side of Hidden Rapids was dirty and was closed. No body was there, which made everything a walk on.

I still had fun though.

Yeah I dont think Americana is open at all anymore last I heard it was closed I love the beach and I love BB BUT I dont swim in public pools.

^I think some friends and I are gonna head over there this weekends and see what we can from the outside, we're not gonna break in of course. We also plan to get some pictures of Americana how it stands now. Ill update you soon if we do it or not.

Attractions, Themeing, and Cleanliness. Hmmmm PKI Boomerang Bay has it hands down compared to the others.

The Beach use to be nice, but that place has gone down hill fast.
