The Oktoberfest sign was removed this season Coney was there last week though.

They take it down so that the parade can go thru. They did this last year too. The floats are too tall and would not fit under the sign.

I just got back from the park and the Oktoberfest sign is gone along with the polls that held it up. So is Oktoberfest on its way out??

Hmm. Interesting I have not noticed that the Octoberfest sign was gone. Yes, they remove the Coney Mall sign so that the floats can go through. Last year, you could see the sign back by the maintenance buildings at the front of the park (by The Beastie) when you were up in the Eiffel Tower.

The octoberfest sign was removed after it was hit by a contractor's vehicle in the park, before this season. I do believe that it happened in one of our great snows.

No need to have the Octoberfest sign anyway. They are not much left of that area anyway. They really need to rethem this area, or give it to the Action Zone or Coney Mall areas.

I agree...The area needs a retheme. That, and we need a new area.
