The guy at greeter said it had about a 45 minute line, so I passed it up... I'll hit it next week when it is not so busy... Let me say it sure was a sight for sore eyes!!! Quote

dionmarx Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 I forgot that I left a post here, have not been on for a while..I have no knowledge of why Skylab broke down, or even Delirium..Point fingers anyway you want, but the fact remains, when buy a product from overseas, it will take awhile to get replacement parts.( remember the phrase "slow boat from China" now it's from Germany, or Holland) In this business, time is critical 'cause you don't have all summer. But I can say, when Skylab wasn't running, it was because they were waiting for parts,from I believe Germany.. Looking at the pics of Delirium, looks like a gear or bearing went bad, for what ever reason... The question is, was the delay caused by delivery problems from Huss, or did it just take that long to disassemble and replace the parts? Rick Quote
