Reclaimer
This is going to sound really noobish, but I've never really wanted to go to the park over a holiday weekend...this year is different. I've heard from some that holidays, such as the upcoming labor day weekend, are one of the better times to go, because the crowds are small. I've heard from others, and have always thought myself, that the park is really busy on days such as on labor day weekend. Would you say labor day weekend would be worth a 2 hr trip to the park, and then back home? Or would most of the day consist of lines? If I don't end up going over labor day weekend, then yesterday was officially my last day at the park during the "summer" season. I'll be back for a day during Fear Fest, and will return for a day during Winterfest.
BoddaH1994
Ew... that's difficult to say. I think Labor Day will be crowded, but not exceptionally bad since PKI doesn't have anything special going on to my knowledge.
King Bowser
the last two seasons were kinda bad on labor day because people want to get there last thrills in before school starts and stuff...the best holiday to go to pki is around easter. Reclaimer
Yeah, I'm thinking I'm just going to skip the Labor Day trip and just go to Fear Fest and Winterfest, and then call it a year. Looks like this past Tuesday was my final summer-season visit to PKI. 'Twas a great, great year! Maybe next year (or even this year at Fear/Winterfest) I can actually meet up with some of you all. You're more than welcome to show up to the PKIC 3rd annual End of Season meetup which is held every year on the last day of the season. We've had about 6 official meeting days in our nearly 3 year history, the first one had only 8 people, but we've had as many as 50. It's really a great time.
