screamingnight
Okay i went to pki yesterday and the last ride I rode was fof. Every time I ride fof I ride in the very back because I used to think it was faster. WRONG! I decided to ride in the front seat because i never rode it in the front seat before. So i got into my seat pulled down my lapbar and but on my seatbelt. The lady said all clear and it felt like I was going 70 mph! Also the people before us that launched off it makes new noises during launching! If you ride fof make sure you get into the front seat! DeLorean Rider
Newsflash! the whole train goes the same speed. Lol Most of those launch noises are dubbed in as part of the soundtrack.
moore
I actually think it seems slower and much less thrilling in the front and back. That's why I always ride in the middle.
flightoffear1996
The entire train goes the same speed yes but some other elements the front or back part will hit the element at a different speed. If your in the back you will get whipped around alot more and what not but in the middle you dont feel the front pulling you and the back pushing you if you know what a mean. DeLorean Rider
Also depending where you are in the train, can controll how good your air time is and where on the hill you recieve it.
flightoffear1996
Yea when they make coasters they need to make make calcultions on every seat in every car on every section of the track.
FOF/Z 4-ever
I prefer the middle
Admiral Ackbar
I prefer the shortest line. The apparent speed and the airtime is all pretty close to the same no matter where you sit. You can get different amounts of airtime on that hump though. But its in the dark and theres no drops - so it pretty much doesn't matter where you sit. KIBeast
I like the back seat on just about any coaster. The weight of the rest of the train usually whips you through the course. Vortex being my favorite back seat ride at PKI.
ohioamusementparkzrule
On TTD when u ride in the front it just feels better because you feel more wind in your face but in the middle you dont feel as much, and plus you get to see the drop and in the middle you dont get to see it as much. Gulliversrubadub
I love to ride in the front seat of FOF. To me it's the best place to ride.
GrandPoobah
FoF is one of the few coasters I prefer to ride in the front seat...I find it more exciting because all you see in front of you is pitch black, you can't see any cars ahead of you to anticipate what's going to happen next. I think it's a much better ride.
Braves0511
I rode Vortex in the very front seat a few weeks ago and found it quite fun. Going over the hump after the first drop you get good air. And in the loop you are plastered into the seat. The only problem being the corkscrews, you fly into them then all of a sudden it just stops it seems. but thats bad anywhere you sit. tubaman
I prefer the shortest line O yea! On TTD when u ride in the front it just feels better because you feel more wind in your face but in the middle you dont feel as much, and plus you get to see the drop and in the middle you dont get to see it as much. The only thing that would worry me about riding TTD in the from seat, is that a seagull would fly infront of the train. It would then turn to see the train, and its sharp beak would stab me through the heart. I doubt that would happen but, you never know. moore
I doubt a seagull would venture into the middle of the park. Yes I heard about Fabio on MF and a girl on maXair. It does happen, but both rides are along the shore.

It does happen, but both rides are along the shore. Actually they come to the middle of the park all the time. But the front seat is my favorite on TTD, just imagine you're sticking your head out of a car at almost twice legal highway speeds. What happened on MF and MaXair? KIBeast
"Yes I heard about Fabio on MF and a girl on maXair." Actually, it was not on maXair or MF and it wasn't at Cedar Point. He got hit in the face while riding Apollo's Chariot at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. maXair wasn't even built yet. Fabio hit by bird On another note, you won't have that problem on TTD because they have something on the tower that makes a sound annoying to the birds so such collisions don't happen. FOF/Z 4-ever
That would be scary. I wonder if anything like that ever happened at KI.

moore
Fabio was hit by a goose on Appolo's chariot no on Millenium Force. Oh! Whoops! A girl was struck by a seagull on maXair I would guess about a month ago.
