Here_is_Trouble!
For my birthday my mom (Mrs. G) drove from Chicago to Kings Island. So we arived at the park around 10:10ish. parked and waited in line to get our season passes... that alone to 30min... so after that we headed down to Action Zone. The line for deleirum was not that long so we waited in that line. We got on and then they made us get off because of a problem... we left and headed over to SoB it was a 25 min wait. after that we made our way to Footlong Express we rode The Racer on the way. We saw Dan working.. he even got our hotdogs.. but he didnt notice us because he looked very into his work... lol... White Water Canyon broke down while we were eating but it was open by the time we were done. so i draged my mom on to it.. since it was just broken down there was like a 10 min wait. after that we watched the people get sprayed while we dried off. after my mom was dry we went to The Beast. Then we headed back to Action Zone to see how the long the wait was for deleirum and it was full.. so we went to top gun.. we waited inline and guess what! it broke down... so we waited that one out and it was about 10min.. i was dry so we wanted to go on Congo Falls but that was down.. so we went to f/o that line was like 30min long.. after we rode that I wanted to go on Congo Falls... but it was draining and people were still in the boats.. so we went back to white water canyon and on the way there my mom wanted to ride The Beast but that was down also.. so we rode white water canyon.. that was the most soaked i got on a water ride before... then we went to potato works and had chicken fingers and went back over to deleirum.. there in line we saw dan with what looked like a video camera... after we rode that... i think we shopped around... and the last ride we rode was SoB and left around 8:30ish... ever ride we past broke down at least once.. swampmonster
Congo Falls was draining? so there was no water in the ride and people were stuck on it? forgive me if this is a stupid question.
Captain Obvious
That's what it sounds like.
Mrs. G.
It didn't drain completely like WWC did last year while we were on it but the water flow on the drop dried up and the water level dropped at least six inches, a ride operator went up the steps and hung with the kids on the boat going up, nobody looked upset or anything. Everything broke down at least once. Maybe I'm just not used to going this early in the season anymore, I'm not complaining. BC (before children) I went every opening day. Haven't made it before June since 1992. What a great weekend. Lots of highlights...like those footlongs...
