A bit warmer? How about a lot warmer! And besides, WinterFest is more about the magic of the holidays and not just riding the same old rides you can ride in the summer. Look at the train ride. It is the same ride, but it has been transformed into a fun filled journey back in time.

If you want to go ride some rides then head down to Disney or Universal or how about going out to Cali, but if you want to experience the magic of the holidays then go to WinterFest. Understand that PKI is not in to the year round opperations business, they are a seassonal park. Eventhough the park is having a special event right now, as we all know during special events there may be a limited number of open attractions, the park as we know it during the summer is closed, shut down, in winter rehab status. How can anybody on here make it any clearer? I know we could build a dome over PKI and heat the entire park to 75 degrees year round. That way we could all ride Vortex and Beast year round. PKI is not here to serve you and unfortunately during a family holiday event most people could care less about ridding TRTR or FOF, because those just arent that festive of rides..... Ahhh theres my gas can

problem is, it would get into teh pumps and burst the pumps... well, they could always remove the pumps... but yeah, its an ok location, close or closer to the HB Carousel, then Boomerang Bay I guess...

Why is it that everytime winterfest has been at PKI you never see a television commercial to promote the event?

There is a HUGE bulletin board advertising it in Cherry Grove - about 4 miles from where I live. It is in a very high traffic area though. Anybody coming off 275 who lives in Anderson or that area sees it every day.

Klockster, I was in Batavia today dropping off some revisions at Permit Central for a new Union Township Fire Department in a water tower.

I was at the beach water parks site and I saw that they freeze one of the water slides over and they let you slide down it!!!! I think PKI needs to move the winter fest area over to the water park and do some of this with the slides. I think it would be so much fun. What do you guys think?

Yes but u have to consider how dangerous it would be. But u could use Taz and put like cotton snow and let u slide into that.
