Buckeye-Beast Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 There is a cool item on ebay, but the description is pretty funny. "You are bidding on a very rare pennant from Kings Island amusement park in Ohio. Pennant appears to be very old guessing late 50's." What's wrong with this description? ebay Item number: 7739408723. Buckeye-Beast Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 They corrected the date on the listing, so now it's not funny anymore. Quote
TOPGUN1993 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Why did someone take away my post ????? Quote
ZosoBeast Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I emailed the guy and told him about his mistake. My comment to him: You DO realize that Kings Island did not open until the 1970s, right? You might wanna change your description for that item. His reply: Thank you changes have been made that's why I put I was guessing 50's. So no I did Not realize, but greatly appreciate the info. Take care Quote
Pirate of PKI Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 That IS a cool pennat though, Dastardly and Muttley under the Tower with the old-school logo. Poor Hannah-Barbera. Quote
Jasper Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 LMAO that is one of the funniest things i have ever seen. It is pretty sad when people try to sell something and give the wrong date and then somebody has to correct them. Quote
