Guest TombraiderTy
I know that this is an old topic, but... Why did they close those seats?

peterderkonig
Mechanical reasons. That makes me feel so much better.... On a completely unrelated note, did anyone notice the 2-second shot inside the operator booth? I assume this is more sophisticated than just a button to start and a button to stop, but how sophisticated is it? I saw at least 2 monitors of some type. TRTR Guy
Its actually quite unsophisticated. The main panel consist of a touch panel (hmm where have i seen a pic of that at recently) and the rest of the panel consist of an emergency stop, a ride stop, a restraint toggle switch, and 2 start buttons. Once all start buttons are pressed everything happens automatically including platforms, the ride movement, the main show, ride homing. The monitors are to watch the ride, 2 are stationary, and 1 is movebale.
DeLorean Rider
Is it just the camera or did the Deiti look like it was that glow in the dark color sometimes? No, it certainly wasn't the camera. That is just one of the [many] effects on the ride that should be working but doesn't. Even if the general public is unaware these aspects of the experience are missing, I think they would be eve more impressed if everything was working the way it is supposed to. There is ultraviolet paint on the wall in front that would react when the light changed and the black lights were shined on it. That paint has since faded significantly. DeLorean Rider
The statue inside of the ride area is indeed Durga, not shiva. The most clear way to tell is because, well, Durga is a female and Shiva is a male and there is no doubt that the statue inside portrays a female. Infact Durga is a wife of Shiva. Shiva: Info on Shiva Durga: Info on Durga Then in preshow, our giant gold friend is a Brahma Brahma: Info on Brahma
coasterking123456
Yes I agree with the crappy lighting when I rode last year I couldn't even see the stalagtites or the statue woman whatever her name was and the lights simulating the lava were basically all burned out. Also in the queue line I saw Coke bottles under it and all sorts of junk and the walls were peeling and there was gum on the bottom of the rails and on the wall as ringmaster said.
