DeLorean Rider Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 -Tasmanian Typhoon was not the first of its kind, Holiday world got one the year before called Zinga and its pink and purple. If you look on the map from 2004, Dundee is standing next to a picture of zinga because obviously TT was not built yet. Quote
PkiJake13 Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I belive Zinga is a smaller version than TT. TT is a larger version, the company who makes it offers three differnt sizes I think. -Jake Quote
DeLorean Rider Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 TT and Zinga have the same size funnel, the only difference is length of the tunnel and the side at which the tunnel connects to the funnel. Quote
DonaldMacRonald Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Yea, I remember when TT was being built, it was special not because of the size of the funnel but because of how long the tunnel was. If you look at a picture of both funnels, they are definately the same size. Quote
PkiJake13 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Look what I found for sale, second picture down: http://www.ridesplus.com/32710.html -Jake Quote
Guest TombraiderTy Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Are they actually selling JJO or is that just to show what it looks like? Anybody have a spare $18,000? That ride would look nice in my backyard, where the old swing set is... Quote
CoastersRZ Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Well, it is ashame that they are not keeping the ride in the park. Coney Island has two Chance rides like Jetson`s Jet Orbiters (a helicopter version and an airplane version. Those two rides are always popular with kids (moreso than the Kiddie Circle Freeway, which is the same type of ride that Huck`s Hot Rods is that is being relocated and renamed in the new Nick universe).
