TGIF?

Given the cost cutting at every opportunity while the park is being sold, it would surprise me greatly if they have them. Especially since, as you noted, it wasn't very busy last year.

Heck, they aren't even opening the GATES til 10 am most days this summer, they have dramatically cut back hours.

Again, I hope I am wrong.

After all, they were at first going to be closed Easter, and now are going to be open!

Why not call the park and let them know how much you enjoyed those May Fridays last year and see what they have to say? If enough people ask....

It worked for WinterFest!

I think it might not have been as busy because it was the first night of TGIF. I am going to call them and see what they say.

I assume that doesn't mean Grad Nights are returning...

More cost cuts in the face of a sale...

I never understood why the park did grad nights, any way. I had the distinct displeasure of being in the park during one of them (and I was already long past the grad stage before the park started having them, I believe).

It wasn't anywhere I'd want MY teenage son or daughter...to say there was little supervision and much activity that is, er, undesirable, would be to be very kind.

Grad Nights were nothing short of horrible.

The park made a good and tidy profit for the nights but EVERYONE hated working them. It seemed like there was more negative than posetive out of the nights.

A good portion of the teens that attended these nights were drunk by the time that they entered the park. The amount of beer and alcohol that was confiscated from the teens just blew me away.

When I was assistant supervisor at Funnel Cakes I remember coming in on Saturday Morning to find one of my wraught iron tables had been bent in two on the patio. (Know how much force it takes to bend one of those?)

Anyway, that's my two cents.

I don't remember my grad night being anything like that. We went to have fun and ride rides. I would have never thought of going drunk. I sure wish they were having the Friday nights in May. I was looking forward to it. My son just turned 6 and is finally tall enought to ride everything he wants to ride. #1 being Italian Job. Guess I will have to pay full price and brave the crowds. wacko.gif
