CarolinaCyclone Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 ....say maybe within 10 or 15 minutes? Quote
cewldre Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I live within in about 5 minutes of the park and do not know of one with in that distance. There may be one slightly farther down the highway, maybe the blue as area, but I am not sure. I wish there was on close... Quote
CarolinaCyclone Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Yeah...won a gift card as a bonus and was curious if I could use it on our vacation. Hmmm.....I thought they were kind of like Starbucks....eeeeeveerywhere, lol Quote
PKIPoodle Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 yep. There's one on Kings Center Ct. not even 2 miles from the park (so says the mapquest.) i knew there was one, you can see it from about any tall ride in the park. i just didnt know how to get there....but here's what the mapquest says Start out going NORTHEAST on Kings Island DR toward BRANT CONN. 1.8 Miles (That would be like a left out of the parking lot.) Turn LEFT onto KINGS MILL RD. 0.1 miles End at Outback Steakhouse 2512 Kings Center Ct, Mason, OH 45040 Quote
DA RIPPER Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 yes about 15 minutes south of the park . get on 71south and take the Kenwood Montgomery Rd exit turn left go 2 traffic lights and it's just after the 2nd light on the right next to Red Lobster. Quote
CarolinaCyclone Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Thanks guys!! I will dedicate my Bloomin Onion to PKI Forums! Quote
PKIPoodle Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 wow does mapquest have ITS wires crossed xD according to it, the directions they gave me should take about 4 mins from the complete other side of the park. wouldnt be the first time >.< Quote
CarolinaCyclone Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Yeah, Mapquest is weird like that. Check this out...after all that, I just found out, they are giving cash instead of the certificate. darn, now I KNOW I will spend it before 10 days....or will I?....lol. You guys are great, thanks again. Quote
RailRider Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Theres an Outback right by the Harley Davidson Store, down by the Kings Mill Resort. Just continue past the park as if your heading to the Beach and it sits back in behind the Comfort Suites. Maybe a 2 minute drive from the front parking gate. Quote

I was wondering why we were not pointing that one out? Quote
PKIVortex Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Yeah same here. I pass it all the time before turning on Kings Island Drive. Maybe those other people were coming the other direction. LOL Quote
Thrill_Biscuit Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Right near Ruby Tuesday at the Kings Mills exit. Then, of course, there's an "Outback" themed waterpark nearby....hmmm? Quote
CoastersRZ Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Yeah, I`m sure the Outback by the Harley Davidson would be less crowded than the one two exits south on 71 by all the hotels! Quote
PkiJake13 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 You can see Drop Zone really good in the Outback's parking lot. -Jake Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Which means, of course, that Mapquest was right. Why anyone would want to go to that Outback when there is a perfectly wonderful Popeye's in a Shell Station and a neato Mexican place where Knapp's used to be is beyond me. Then again, I have weird food tastes! Quote
