April 14, 200620 yr Dayton Daily News: PKI 2006 Season Check out the price listed for parking. Is that correct???
April 14, 200620 yr I don't thinkso, someonea coupledays agosaid itwas raised one dollar to 10 dollars. -Jake
April 14, 200620 yr Wow alot of typo's in that. I'm surprised they even let that go to print. Whoever was responsabale for that story doesn't know what they are talking about.
April 14, 200620 yr Wow, . It talks about wrong parking prices, H-B Land still being around, the park randomly not being open June 6th? (that's a Tuesday) it could be correct, but I doubt it.............not a very well-informed article.
April 14, 200620 yr They also need to mention that the $34.99 ticket price needs to be purchased 3 days in advance and printed off as an e-ticket. I thought parking price was $10 too.
April 14, 200620 yr They clearly forgot to update for this year...they also messed up the fact that this year, the gates won't open until 10 am...no more hanging out on I-Street from 9 to 10.
April 14, 200620 yr This is why I love PKIC. Much of this blurb is incorrect and I'm not sure where the scoop came from since it didn't come from my office!!!! Anyway...this is what I sent (and FYI): I just wanted to give you the heads up on some errors in this blurb so we can correct them online. We have two parks - Paramount's Kings Island and Crocodile Dundee’s Boomerang Bay Water Park Resort. A ticket does permit access to both areas of the park. We are not closed June 6. Our gates and attractions open/start at 10 a.m. Our parking lot opens at 9 a.m. We no longer have Hanna Barbera Land. The entire area is called Nickelodeon Universe. I’m attaching a release which you should have also receive last week from Bill Mefford. Single day tickets are $44.99 at the gate or $34.99 online at www.pki.com or at Meijers, Krogers or Speedway. Parking is $10. Premier parking is $15. Have a great day!
April 14, 200620 yr LOL Now I'm not sure how much clearer the woman has to be to get the story out there correctly.
April 14, 200620 yr That has to be unbeliveably frustrating... She spoon feeds the media information, and they still can't get it right. And, if they do print a correction, it won't have nearly the visibility of the orginal article. What did the Dayton Daily News do--just randomly make up stuff? They must have found it a whole lot easier than looking at their notes, or reading a press release. Jeesh...
