Vortexlover2
didn't we already have a topic like this?
The Interpreter
Read the article. There is NEWS in it. Along with considerable opinion.
Vortexlover2
I did read it but... the topic is named the same thing as the last one, just without the exclamation point... and it's basically saying the same thing as last time. Kings Island up for sale! paramount did a great job theeming it! No offence ~vl2
UncleHenry
Nope, nothing new.
The Interpreter
Well, you two win no prizes for reading content. Among other things, the article MISTAKENLY says it is $7 to park at PKI. Where they got THAT information I have no idea. Remind me to not have you two read the dosing directions on Granny's supercritical medicine! Where they got THAT information I have no idea. Remind me to not have you two read the dosing directions on Granny's supercritical medicine! hey i'm sorry, but they really are just saying the same thing. And just to tell you i'm not nearly old enough, or the same gender, to be a granny. edit what i meant by that is I'm a boy
UncleHenry
Wow, they had a typo. We need a whole new topic for a typo. It also has NO new information. We know the parks are up for sale, no one knows who the buyer is, and the Paramount theme will most likely not be affected much.
The Interpreter
I have no idea how you know the Paramount theme likely won't be affected much. Quite frankly, it wouldn't surprise me one iota were that NOT the case. And $7 instead of $10 is HARDLY a typo. It's WRONG.
Vortexlover2
if this information is new then what is the old information?
UncleHenry
WHO CARES if they got the parking price wrong, newspapers aren't infallible. And it's common sense that the Paramount theme would not change. No one would buy the parks if they'd have to change all of the theming of these heavily themed rides. Vortexlover2
okay that confused me first your saying its new, and now your saying it's wrong? CONFUSED ~2vl
Vortexlover2
in a completly unrelated topic are people watching us for fun? ~vl2 edit nine people are watching us at the moment
The Interpreter
Not to argue, but WHAT heavily themed rides? With the exception of Tomb Raider, all the theming at Paramount's Kings Island could be removed for less than the cost of a dozen major market television commercials. For an example of how that is done, look at what Cedar Fair did at the old Six Flags Worlds of Adventure...

Reclaimer
I love how they say the FoC (Beastie/Scoobie Doo) was a little version of The Racer.
PKIVortex
But Paramount got to keep HB theming after they bought it. So I think that the new owners would get to use the Paramount themes as well. Probably they will under some kind of contract or something.

How many folk really believe that Associates not wearing name tags is really a cost cutting move?
