Places to eat outside the park

[just for fun]

I not from around the area and prices inside the park are pretty high for a family of four. Would any one have any suggetions for good places to eat out that are close to the park. Maybe even a buffet. Please give street address so that I can locate it on a map.

Well, there are a ton of options south of the park at the Fields Ertel and Montgomery Road exti from I-71 (1 exit south from PKI). Although traffic down there is a little harsh. Just north of PKI on Kings Mills Rd there are a variety of food choices: Skyline Chili, Burger King, McDonald`s, Outback Steakhouse, Taco Bell and a Bob Evans. NOt sure of where the nearest buffet is to the park.

Is the Chineese Buffet not still off the Fields Ertle Exit near Days Inn?

And there are tons of family type restaurants up that way. I'd say go for Cracker Barrel. <G>

There is a Perkin's Pancake House at I-71 and King's Mill Road. I highly reccomend it - especially the pancakes! (much much better than Bob Evans - and Perkin's coffee is better too).

Like already said, there's a bunch of places there, or the next exit South. Anything your hearts desire.

Ig you stay at the Kings Island resort they have breakfest and dinner buffets. plus kids under 10 eat free and the hotel is resonably priced to so its usually a good bargain

Chan's Asian Wok in Mason, Exit 19, is the most awesome Chinese food I ever had in Ohio. It serves Chinese food, as well as some Japanese, Korean and Thai dishes. I highly recommend it.

I personally love going to Fuddrucker's, which is only a few miles down the road, I believe. I'm not from the area and that's one place we always make sure to hit.

But with Chipotle, to be REAL festive you must come down on Friday, May 5.... Cinco de Mayo.... Then you'll have something!

Nearest buffet would be the Golden Corral on Mason Montgomery Road. It is on the Fields Ertel exit. Coming south on I-71, the exit comes on to Mason-Montgomery Rd. Turn left off the exit and go under the interstate, past Fields-Ertel Rd. and I believe it is on the left just past Governors Way.
