Can't exactly find the 7 year old responsible for this.

The claim that would be made would be for the death of the 7 year old.

From a claims standpoint the park is gonna be all over this in liability.

^The 7 year old got out of the boat, the ride didnt force him out nor instruct him to get out.

7 year olds can not be presumed to make the correct decisions.

Minors are given greater latitude in that type of situation.

If I had more facts I'd actually be able to tell ya a range that the company would be looking to settle.

You might want to know that the park where it happened is owned and operated by the County. That changes a lot of things. Westchester County, New York, it is. This is also mentioned in passing in the article.

Nah, I have friends that do claims for the state of Georgia and a friend that does Federal Government Claims.

It's all the same unless ya get hit in a car by a government worker on duty. <G>

In that situation they claim soverign immunity.
